Q-LET Tablets – Folate Supplement for Healthy Pregnancy and CNS Functions

 700

Q-LET provides Quatrefolic (6S-5-MTHF), a bio-active folate that is 400 times more soluble than calcium salt, ensuring superior bioavailability for DNA, CNS functions, and minimizing pregnancy risks like NTD’s.

Description

Q-LET is a dietary supplement containing Quatrefolic (6S-5-MTHF) at a strength of 1200 mcg. It provides a Bio-Active Folate that bypasses the need for conversion in the body. Q-LET is the latest design of folate. Compared to Folic Acid, which must be converted to 5-methylfolate (5-MTHF) and can be limited due to genetic polymorphism, Q-LET provides 5-MTHF directly. The administration of (6S-5-MTHF) Q-LET showed a significant increase in Red Blood Cells (RBCs) in comparison with the group of Folic Acid, and is more effective in improving folate status.

Usage and Benefits

Q-LET is an essential supplement that supports several key bodily and developmental functions, particularly during pregnancy.

  • It supports the formation of RBC’s, DNA synthesis, and CNS functions.
  • It has an important role in cell division and is specially in pregnancy.
  • It is helpful for baby’s Brain and Spinal Cord Development.
  • It is helpful for growth of baby’s bones and muscles.
  • It helps minimize the risk factors of preeclampsia, NTD’s, low birth weight, and psychomotor development in baby.

Composition (Per Serving)

Q-LET contains the following active ingredient:

(6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid, glucosamine salt (Quatrefolic): 1200mcg

Note on Bioavailability: Q-LET is 400 times more soluble in water than calcium salt. Comparison of solubility in water has been performed, showing the quantity of solvent required to dissolve the same amount of each folate derivative at standard temperature. Q-LET passes the Gastric Barrier and is mainly absorbed in the small intestine by a carrier-mediated mechanism. The carrier is not saturated and this enables Q-LET to ensure a higher folate intake.

Precautions

  • Use the Q-LET Before Damages Done.
  • Always consult a healthcare professional before beginning any supplement regimen, especially if pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Ensure the product is stored properly as per the packaging instructions.

Additional Information (Folic Acid Conversion)

Folic acid is not converted entirely to its active form (5-MTHF) due to polymorphism. In MTHFR deficiency, this may reduce the efficiency up to 70%. The Q-LET supplement allows 5-MTHF to be immediately bioavailable without being metabolized. This conversion pathway is detailed in the image showing Folic Acid converting to Dihydrofolate, Tetrahydrofolate, 5, 10 Methylene Tetrahydrofolate, and finally 5-methylfolate, where the conversion can be blocked.
